A family cellar which revived its heritage traditions in 2010, after an intermission of half a century. Bretanov's wines reflect the experimental spirit of their creators. The young enologist Maria Stoeva ferments the wine with the wild yeast from the vineyard, which distinguishes the cellar from all others in Bulgaria.
A wine cellar with large capacity in the village of Kolarovo. Its building is entirely made of stone. The winery is striving to achieve excellent quality by applying minimal interference with the grapes and wine. Its name comes from the Roman roadside coach station called Castra Rubra (the red fortress) in the village of Izvorovo.
The winery, founded in 1997, is located in the village of Dikea, 5 km from the border with Bulgaria at Svilengrad.
The cellar was opened in 2007. It is located in one of the most promising areas for vineyards in Bulgaria. The terrain is hilly, revealing picturesque views of the Eastern Rhodopes and Sakar. On a vast area (750 hectares), fifteen sorts of grapes are grown, among which two typical Bulgarian ones - Mavrud and Rubin. The wine cellar’s portfolio includes various wine brands, among which the most popular are Question Mark, Halla and Twins. They symbolize elements of history and terroir. The different terroir qualities and specific areas in the vineyards provide the team of wine-makers with rich opportunities for experiments. The wine cellar has been awarded numerous prizes.
The cellar was founded in 2005. It was built near a crossroad of the same name on the ancient Roman roads of Sakar. The production process is in line with the modern trends in the wine industry, thanks to the young enologist Sliven Georgiev. The nearly 18 hectares of own vineyards provide grapes to make the typical full-bodied tanin wines of the Sakar region. The most famous is the Enigma line wines.

A small family cellar in the village of Mezek. Created by Georgi Dzivkov with the idea to revive the old traditions of wine production in the region of the Eastern Rhodopes choosing the best grapes from the area. Every year the winery releases its lines of the boutique Mezek brand. Its distinctive sign is the stylized image of a wild boar sculpture, which was discovered in the Thracian tomb near the village of Mezek.
The winery was established in 2000. It is located in the locality of Konluka, near the town of Harmanli. The organic wines of the winery are made of grapes grown in its own 400 hectare certified vineyards in the area of southern Sakar and the valley of Maritsa river.
Founded in 1999 by Nikos and Flora Vourvoukeli in the area of Avdira (20 km from Xanthi). The aim is to revive the region's wine heritage, which dates back to antiquity. Typical grape varieties such as Mavrud, Pamid, Limnio, Assyrtiko, Malagasy have been planted on an area of 40 hectares. The produced wines have aging potential. They are stored in a specially built wine cellar area, open to visitors during tours from Monday to Saturday (10:00 - 15:00). A guided tour is provided every hour, it takes about 45 minutes and it is suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
